London, Great Brittain with my grandfather
With my grandfather on a travel journey! The year 2018
We got a hotel right next to the London Eye, it was a four star hotel, it was really nice.
London Eye
The London Eye is a Ferris wheel at Westminster Bridge in London, close to the British Parliament on the south bank of the River Thames. Also known as the Millennium Wheel
When the Ferris wheel opened in January 2000, it was the world's largest. It consists of 32 glass gondolas that each hold around 25 people, i.e. a maximum of 800 passengers at a time. The lap time is 30 minutes. The wheel towers 135 meters above the ground at its highest point, and on a clear day visibility is 40 kilometers.

It was very high up and I felt the tickle in my stomach, everything was transparent. I'm a bit afraid of Ferris wheels, so I was a bit worried. But what a view!
After all, this was in 2018, and at that time Starbucks was incredibly popular, so it was special to be able to go to Starbucks to buy something. I introduced grandpa to starbucks where I always have a milkshake without coffee with strawberries and cream when I first go there. He thought it was great!
We ate good food often, breakfast consisted mostly of eggs, bacon and pancakes, my favorite. Hotel breakfast every day in a buffet, very good. We also ate out at several different restaurants, where they served, among other things, steak, eggs and bacon, pasta, KFC where they sold chicken clubs that were strong, but delicious.
Madame Tussauds
We also went to Madame Tussauds, which is a wax museum, where they exhibit famous people as wax figures.

This is a little while ago, so don't remember exactly. But I know we were on a Sherlock Holmes trip, where we had to solve a murder mystery with him.
Sherlock Holmes is a fictional novel character and master detective created by the British author Arthur Conan Doyle. The brilliant London-based "consulting detective" is famous for his sharp logical presentation of evidence, his skill in solving any mystery, and his use of technical evidence to solve difficult criminal cases.

The Dungeon
My description:
On the other side of the hotel, there was something called The Dungeon, so we checked it out. It's a place where they tell the story of London in a slightly grotesque way, it was very exciting, scary but great! At the end there was a carousel that we had to take which was a bit like the frogs on daisies, only that instead of a carousel we were supposed to be hanged. A bit dark but it was what made you want to follow along, very funny and exciting too. London's dark history.
The Internet's description:
The London Dungeon is a tourist attraction in Tooley Street, London, near London Bridge station. It is an exhibition of various horrific events throughout history presented in a fun and exciting way that makes it more interesting for the younger generation.
