My first business event
Today I went to my very first business event! Here I met many people who are on their way or who have already started their own business, some within the same theme, or like me who have the theme of travel and life.
This was at Litteraturhuset in Oslo at 10.00 on 10.09.2024 Guri Five from the company https://www.kommuniserbedre.no organized this event. It cost approx. NOK 666, since I ordered as soon as it was posted. Gradually the price increased somewhat.
We started by introducing ourselves, about the kind of business we have and what we were passionate about. In my case, everything to do with travel is my great passion.
After this we had a mixture of meditation, visualization and breathwork, which here was called a heart-opener. It was difficult as I struggle both with relaxing and breathing. My muscles were actually a little less stiff afterwards, so that helped somewhat.
Meditation:

Visualization:

Breathwork:

After this we had group tasks about business and our dreams, then the others sitting at the same table were to look at us to see if we became happy and eager or not, based on what we said. This is to see if it is the right choice we have made with regard to the company. If you are very enthusiastic when you talk about your plan, you can say that you are on the right track with "company choice". Or "product choice" depending on how far each individual has come with their own business.
Then it was time for lunch, which we ate in the park before continuing inside the literature house again.
After lunch, we talked further about our company. What can we work on more, what should we do next and we got new tips and ideas. We also talked about priorities for the autumn, and speaking of this, I would like to say that I have started creating a course on "planning and booking a trip". All in all, I thought it was a very nice day, with a lot of new knowledge, inspiration and motivation to go on, as well as new friends and potential partners later on! Very cozy!
