Roadtrip with my dog in Norway. The way home

We had no time limit to travel, so we didn't know how long we would be on the road trip either.

Eventually both Gizmo and I started to get very tired, Gizmo doesn't get to sleep properly when he's away from home, and now we'd been away for a while. And now we had been on a trip.

So now it's time to go home.

We drove over Valdresfjellet (the mountain) again, we had many small breaks, and a couple of longer breaks on the way. There were many sheep crossing the road, and snow on top of the mountain. It had become terribly cold.

We could have stopped and spent the night one more day before heading home as the road was long. But we wanted to go home, so we drove straight home, with breaks of course.

Gizmo was very happy to come home! So away is good but home is best. "Borte bra, men hjemme er best" is a saying in norwegian.

All in all, a cozy, unique and exciting trip, when Gizmo and I traveled together for the first time. Really cozy and not traveling alone, but you don't get to do all the activities on the road. There will mostly be walks, eating food, and some experiences that you are allowed to take your dog on. We were prepared and ready for this before we left, so it was a very good experience all in all.
